The Department of Housing and Public works have a number of divisions in which they recognise excellence. The ‘ROE’ Awards recognise people and companies within the community who are doing great things.
We were asked to incorporate some of the clients own materials in to this trophy. Our design team were able to feature the Department of Housing and Public works’ own stone. Pairing the stone with 30mm thick acrylic, adding laser etching in combination with UV Imaging , has resulted in a stylish and personalised trophy.
By incorporated a natural substrate such as stone, the awards each have their own personality.

We were lucky enough to work with Yokohama USA on another batch of awards at the end of last year. We’ve incorporated a strong mechanical presence into these awards as well as keeping a sleek overall look.
We have used clear acrylics to create a 3D design effect of the track map; the clear acrylics create an almost holographic look. The strong red and black colours dominant the award and tie directly back into the brand. We have used a black timber effect that allows the stark white track titles to ‘pop’. The award is finished off with stainless steel bolts and a silver mirror acrylic to mimic a chrome effect to bring an mechanical feel to the award.

This special project was brought to us by the team over at Gilimbaa. It was created to be a part of a unique charity art exhibition and auction, with all proceeds going to Youngcare. Titled ‘CEX’, the project challenged members of Brisbane advertising’s community to transform an ordinary bowling pin into a work of art.
Gilimbaa is a full service creative agency specialising in strategic and connected communication. Gilimbaa means ‘today’ in the language of the Wakka Wakka people of Central Queensland. Gilimbaa is an organisation that believes in the; education, preservation and celebration of Indigenous culture and communities.
These are the custom awards created for the team over at Yokohama for the The Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA. The Porsche Cup Challenge is a one-make racing series based in North America using Porsche 911 GT3s. It boasts the position as one of the largest of Porsche’s 20 single-make Cup Challenge series in the world. The series produces intense, exciting competition for semi-professional and aspiring professional drivers in the world’s most produced and iconic race car, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Racing is divided into two classes – Platinum Cup, featuring the 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, which is based on the eighth (current) generation of the street car, and Gold Cup, featuring the 2014–2016 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, which is based on the seventh generation of the street car.
We love creating new and creative projects for clients. We also love when they love them so much that they come back for more! Here is the latest set of awards we created for the guys over at the WSL for this years Quicksilver and Boost Pro surfing competitions. The Quiksilver Pro is an event on the World Surf League. The event is held every year at Coolangatta in Queensland, Australia. Brazilian native Italo Ferreira took out the win for the mens comp and Caroline Marks took out the win in the womens (Boost Pro) comp.
We worked with our friends over at Nautique on these special awards for their 60th Annual Water Ski and Wakeboard Tournament. The Masters is known throughout the world as the most prestigious watersports tournament. The event began in 1959 at Callaway Gardens (Georgia, USA) and is held annually. An invitation to compete in the Masters is universally considered an honour and an acknowledgement of achievement for reaching the pinnacle in a given watersports discipline – only the world’s most elite athletes compete at the Masters. So we were more than happy to create something for such a prestigious event. We used custom cut solid timber, combined with solid metals (creating our gold, silver and bronze), UV printed acrylic and laser etched details, these will surely live in pride of place on the mantelpiece.

Campbelltown City Council have become a great client of ours that we have worked with multiple times over the years and this year we were very happy to be making their Australia Day Awards for 2019.
Inspired by some of our encapsulated awards, our designers came up with a unique look for the trophies showing a mixture of encased timbers and exposed edges. The base has cut throughs to show coloured acrylics coming through and is finished with our signature laser etching.

For the design of the trophy we incorporated their logo into the shape of the product, a standout feature that is very unique compared to other shapes we have made. Then layering up with timber and printed acrylic the final product is a one of a kind piece!

In conjunction with their annual smaller awards, PepsiCo requested that we recreate their smaller awards into a large perpetual trophy that would display the names of winners throughout the years.
Now this trophy was huge! Probably the largest trophy we have created to date, it will definitely make a big statement wherever it is place. The total height of this award was almost 600mm/23.5 Inches tall.
