For the 36th annual Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards, we were tasked with designing a collection of trophies that capture the significance of the event and the global impact of its winners. Celebrating excellence across 15 categories, the awards recognise Queensland businesses for their innovation, growth and success in export markets around the world.
With sustainability front of mind, we were briefed to create a unique, environmentally conscious award, using as many sustainable materials as possible. The final design achieved approximately 80% sustainability, combining recycled acrylic with timber sourced from a reclaimed Queensland home.
The acrylic sheets are made from a minimum of 80% recycled material, repurposing offcuts and scraps that would have otherwise ended up in landfill—reducing the overall environmental footprint of the awards.
Utilising the event’s unique branding, the design team developed a layered, UV printed and laser-cut acrylic design, creating depth through the silhouette of Queensland. The recycled timber was carefully treated and repurposed by our in-house joinery team to form the base, with laser-etched winner details on the front completing the final piece.

Nautique is an industry-leading American boat manufacturer producing some of the world’s best waterski, wakeboard, and wakesurf boats.
One of our favourite long-standing U.S. clients, Nautique once again approached us to create a highly original and personalised piece for their 2025 Dealer Awards. After using the same design for the previous four years, it was time for a refresh — and the Nautique team trusted us to take the creative lead and develop something new and exciting.
Our design team drew inspiration from architecture, interior design, and the natural movement of water to develop the award’s unique flowing form. Layers of precision laser-cut acrylic were carefully hand painted and assembled to create a repeating, water-like pattern that captures the motion and energy of the ocean.
To distinguish between the different award categories, a palette of gold, black, and silver accents was used, giving each piece a refined and premium finish. The body of the award was crafted from hand-veneered A-grade timber, finished in black and complemented by a bold red acrylic Nautique logo badge, accent features, and UV-printed titles to complete the design.

In the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup North America season, the Yokohama Most Wins Award is presented to the driver who secured the highest number of race victories across the championship. Our longstanding client Yokohama asked us to design and produce this year’s trophy.
The topper features a signature Yokohama tyre design layered with gold mirror acrylic to create a strong visual impact. The circular element reflects the core product behind the series, while the gold finish adds contrast and definition. The edges were hand-veneered and painted black to replicate the look of a tyre sidewall.
The base was constructed from hand-veneered timber, finished in black. A slip-case structure incorporates layered red, gold and black acrylic panels, referencing the Porsche Carrera Cup North America branding. A spot UV printed race flag effect adds subtle texture and light contrast across the surface.
Logos were UV printed for a sharp, durable finish, with tracked details printed along the side. The final result is a bold, well-built award that clearly represents performance and achievement at the highest level of the 2025 season.

We were recently contacted by our long-term client Racing Queensland to create these unique awards for their Hall of Fame legends.
These pieces were designed to honour some of the greatest names in Australian racing, including the larger feature awards presented to Winx and Black Caviar. For those trophies, we incorporated their iconic bib colours into the curved acrylic detail — a subtle but meaningful nod to their racing history.
All of the components were precision laser cut and crafted from beautiful walnut timber, giving each piece a rich, natural warmth. The edges were carefully hand-veneered to ensure a seamless, high-end finish from every angle. A layered acrylic window flows through the front of the design, adding depth and subtle contrast against the timber, while the laser-cut horse silhouettes along the base create a strong connection to the sport in a clean and understated way. Mirror plaques complete the piece, adding a sharp, polished finish that elevates the overall look.

As 2025 kicked off, the team at SX Global partnered with us to create a new suite of custom awards for the World Supercross Championship, spanning events in Australia and Sweden. While each location required its own visual identity, the brief was clear: the awards needed to feel cohesive, premium, and unmistakably aligned with the championship’s brand.
For the Australian events, we leaned heavily into the official brand guidelines, developing a bold, high-impact design anchored by yellow as the hero colour. These awards featured edge-lit acrylic elements, yellow vinyl detailing, and UV-printed acrylic graphics, all brought together with a hand-veneered black timber base. The result was a striking, modern award that reflected the energy and intensity of the Australian rounds.
In contrast, the Swedish event took place during winter, inspiring a more restrained and refined aesthetic. To suit the season and setting, we introduced a lighter timber palette, paired with a single black feature award to maintain visual continuity with the broader collection. This subtle shift allowed the Swedish awards to feel distinctly regional while still belonging to the same design family.
The final collection balanced innovation, craftsmanship, and storytelling—each award tailored to its environment, yet unified through thoughtful material selection and consistent design language. We loved collaborating on this project and bringing these concepts to life for the 2025 championship season.

We were thrilled when the team at Brique Projects reached out to us to create a custom samples box for Cypress Terrace, an exclusive collection of five architecturally designed villas in Palm Beach. With its refined coastal aesthetic and premium finishes, the project called for a presentation piece that felt as considered and timeless as the development itself.
To achieve this, our design team selected a beautiful fabric that ties seamlessly into the Cypress Terrace branding. Our in-house joinery team then hand-crafted the box to house the curated finishes, creating a tactile, elegant structure that speaks to the project’s coastal sophistication.
Inside, the samples were carefully placed and topped with a crisp UV-printed white acrylic panel featuring clear captions and branding. Branding was also printed on the exterior and interior fabric wraps, each one meticulously applied for a flawless finish.
The finished box captures the textures, colours and atmosphere of Cypress Terrace, giving a genuine sense of the coastal lifestyle at the heart of the development and offering a tactile glimpse into what future residents will soon call home.

Our longstanding client, Magic Millions, recently approached us to design a custom trophy for their newest race, the Magic Millions Sunlight. Held annually at the Gold Coast Racecourse in Queensland, the Sunlight is a prestigious 1100m sprint with a total prize pool of $3,000,000 — a major highlight of the racing calendar.
Our in-house design team drew inspiration from the race’s name to create a piece that radiates energy and elegance. We combined laser-cut acrylic, UV-printed in warm, sun-soaked tones, with a circular form to subtly evoke the sun. A gold mirror horse stands proudly at the centre — the hero element — complemented by other reflective gold details throughout.
To add depth and a refined sense of craftsmanship, our in-house production team hand-veneered the edges using A-grade Australian timber, giving the piece a natural warmth and elegant touch. Laser-etched text adds the final detail, ensuring the trophy captures both the spirit of the event and the prestige of the win.

After collaborating with the team at Biren Consultancy on a custom message stick, we were thrilled to take on another exciting project for them. This time, we were tasked with creating bespoke boxes to house indigenous clapsticks as part of a corporate gifting initiative for William Barton—a renowned Kalkadungu man, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, didgeridoo player, and classical composer.
We personally sourced timber from Northern Queensland for the custom clapsticks which were crafted from native Australian Gidgee timber. Gidgee timber has special significance in Aboriginal culture as it is traditionally used for crafting tools such as boomerangs, nulla nullas, and clapsticks. It is a hardy, native Australian tree with a dark brown colour and dense wood, making it the most difficult timber we have worked with to date.
We carefully laser-etched the clapsticks with an intricate hand-drawn Indigenous artwork designed specifically for this project by Aunty Delmae Barton, William’s Mother. After multiple production meetings, our team developed a way to seamlessly etch a snake design around the sticks, ensuring a flawless, continuous pattern.
To complement these unique pieces, we designed and constructed custom boxes incorporating William Barton’s personal branding elements, the emu foot. The exterior featured a distinctive laser-cut pattern, enhanced with UV printing to align perfectly with the project’s aesthetic. To add a personal touch, we also produced custom card stock, allowing William to include handwritten letters for each recipient.
Bringing this corporate gift to life was an absolute pleasure, and we loved every step of the creative process. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind, custom-designed piece, get in touch with us today—we’d love to bring your vision to reality.

We were thrilled when Sandbox Properties approached us to create a custom finishes box for their latest development, Ayre. This exclusive collection of four canal-front homes showcases a striking façade inspired by the rich hues of the Australian landscape. Raw concrete and ochre tones blend seamlessly with carefully selected native flora and mature trees, creating a harmonious connection to the natural surroundings.
To bring this vision to life, our in-house joinery team crafted a bespoke presentation box using native Australian timber. Wrapped in a custom fabric that aligns perfectly with the project’s branding, the box features a sleek logo on both the interior and exterior. A spot varnish pattern adds an extra layer of detail, reinforcing the development’s unique aesthetic.
Inside, a removable panel presents a beautifully curated selection of images and descriptions showcasing the materials used in the homes. Beneath this panel, physical samples of each material invite potential buyers to touch and experience them firsthand, transforming the box into a truly interactive and immersive tool.

As 2024 came to a close, the team at SX Global reached out to us with an exciting project: creating distinctive awards for the World Supercross Championship, with events held in both Perth and Abu Dhabi. They envisioned awards that were unique to each location while maintaining a cohesive design that incorporated their branding and motocross elements.
Drawing inspiration from the event’s branding and marketing collateral, our design team crafted three innovative concepts that brought these elements to life. A blend of black-stained timber and natural light wood provided contrast, ensuring each award had its own identity while remaining part of a unified collection. To elevate the design further, we incorporated printed acrylics, gold accents, and precision laser etching, resulting in awards that truly reflected the spirit of the championship.
