This year we were asked to update the Nautique Presidents award to a new style, to reflect the design elements used in their boats. We were able to utilise interesting and eye-catching 3D geometric shapes, which ties back to the design details within the Nautique Boats.
The main body of the award was hand veneered by our in-house joinery team, and additional details and logos were laser etched into the base. Our designers were able to create a custom 3D model of the geometric shapes, that was embedded into the face of the trophy. To finish the trophy off with a pop of colour we added a uv-printed piece of red acrylic, highlighting the clients logo.
These awards were a real hit within our team and with the client. Contact us today to start designing your next award!

Design Matters is a prominent and experienced company for Building Designers and industry professionals. Members are supported via government advocacy programs, education, mentoring and networking. They share a passion for sustainability and better design. Design Matters reached out to us in need of a custom award that features elements used in building processes.
Our design team utilised a concrete base feature in conjunction with hand veneered native timber. It was then embellished this with laser etching, gold acrylic details and printed text. This trophy highlights the Design Matters aim to maintain quality building design with the highest professional and ethical standards.
We enjoyed researching and experimenting with concrete elements to find the perfect design solution for this award. Contact us today to discuss your next design solution.

We had the privilege of creating a stunning samples box for Belvue Runaway Bay. This entirely wrapped fabric box embodies the luxurious and elegant finishes showcased throughout the Belvue Building. Inspired by the essence of coastal living, we were able to include the beautiful pastel blue branding colours into the box design.
This custom finishes box features a crisp white logo and a carefully hand bound wrap case by our in house production team. The box features everything from tap finishes to wall tiles, if you have a development that you need a samples board for, get in contact today!

We were able to create a sizable trophy, using geometric angles and gold mirror elements. The propeller in the centre of the award spins to create an interactive feature, while the black stained timber makes the red and gold details pop.
We are very proud to work with Nautique again on their awards this year and congratulate them on this tremendous accomplishment.

We were contacted by the proud mum of one of our Gold Medal winning Australians, asking us to create a set of appreciation plaques that highlighted her sons achievements. We were stoked to be working with her on this project and are really happy with how the finished plaque turned out.
Utilising a combination of laser cut timber and printed acrylic features, this plaque showcases a replica medal alongside photos of the moments leading up to and just after receiving it. The frame also incorporates a portion of the Tokyo 2020 logo, to give it that extra special touch.
We loved working on this project, and hope to do another special project like this soon. Contact us today to begin designing yours!

Our friends over at the Gold Coast Turf Club contacted us to help create a custom stand for their TAB Military Rose Plate award. The award pays tribute to one of only three Gold Coast trained horses in history to have won the Magic Millions 2YO Classic!
After we were supplied with the existing Rose Gold plate, we developed a base shape to showcase the plate whilst making sure the plate wouldn’t be too top heavy. To embellish the base we utilised laser cutting techniques to feature a rose coming through the timber. We also included a large scale laser etch over the edges to create a tactile and contrasting feature. Felt was also utilised in the centre slot, to prevent any scratching occurring on the plate.
We were very pleased with the outcome of this base. Contact us today to start designing custom awards for your next event.

The team at Gallant visual contacted us recently to help produce a Maternity Ward sign to announce new baby arrivals. This piece had to be updateable for each new baby, declaring their given name, date of birth, weight and height. We were able to work with Gallant Visual in order to make this sign a reality.
We used a native Australian timber to create this important piece of signage with matching shelving for the acrylic letters. The sign also features laser etched details and text, which makes for great announcement photos of the new addition with their families. We always supply these signs ready to install, with all mounting hardware required.

The Queensland Reconciliation Awards recognise efforts undertaken by businesses, community organisations, educational institutions and government bodies that are going above and beyond their core business to foster reconciliation and pave the way for a better future. The Department of the Premier and Cabinet approached us to create an exciting new concept for the awards. Indigenous artist, Jordana Angus and Carbon Creative developed this beautiful illustration for the event. The “artwork is an interpretation of what Reconciliation in Australia means to me (Jordana) and recognises the positive steps that businesses, organisations and educational institutions are taking towards reconciliation in Queensland.”
These exceptional awards utilise native Australian timbers with etched text and logo’s to highlight the deserving winners. The supplied artwork encapsulated within this trophy has been broken up into layers for added depth and intrigue throughout the piece. Jordana created so many beautiful elements and symbols in this artwork that we really wanted to highlight all the aspects of them. We wanted the illustrations to be the focal point of the awards with the natural timbers enhancing the earthy colours of the artwork.

Amazon reached out to us to design and create a trophy that resembled an Amazon shipping box to award students at Michigan State University.
We utilised a solid block of hard maple timber which we printed on all sides to look like a real life shipping box! We printed everything from the corrugations in the cardboard to the iconic Amazon shipping tape and the final effect was an uncanny resemblance to the real thing!
We loved working on this project with Amazon. If you have a fun new project you want to bring to life, Contact us today!

The team over at IT Wizards contacted us to design new portfolios that would intrigue desired new customers. After the initial design brief, we were given creative freedom to create something fresh that would grab the attention of potential new clients.
We designed the folders around a variety of materials and methods to produce a unique look. The folders were constructed of a mid-tone timber to bring some texture to the folders. The timber was embellished with laser etching and coloured leather with printed logos. We laser cut parts of the IT Wizards logo to incorporate the white paper from the internal pages below.
This combination of techniques produced one of a kind point of sale material for our client.
We hope to work with IT Wizards on their next innovative project! Contact us today to design your next point of sale range.

We were approached by Alfred, a Sydney based design studio, to help bring their design concepts for a whiskey tasting kit to reality. These boxes were made for the 2020 Diageo Special Releases single malt scotch Whiskey “Rare by Nature” range. The tasting kit highlights the eight whiskey releases, each with their own tasting glass and food pairings.
These kits feature a pale blonde timber which tones in with the deep red and gold of the “Rare by Nature” colour scheme. The box was designed so the lid slides off easily and is flush with all sides. Internally we have installed custom foam inserts to fit the supplied whiskey bottles and glasses snuggly so they can be shipped without the risk of damage to the fragile glass inside. Each sample is also clearly labelled for ease of identification by the user.
This was a great project to work on, and we hope to work with the team at Alfred again soon!
