Tasked with creating 350 customised invitations for this modern, technology-focused event, we began by creating an external sleeve for the invitations, accomplished through our use of laser cut Curious Matter specialty paper from K.W. Doggett.

For the internal portion and the outer box of the invitations, we used another K.W. Doggett stock called Knight vellum, further accented with a clear print over the front.
Pairing the custom invitations with a custom box, highlighted by our use of a foiled logo and tailored internal tray, we pulled out all the stops for this extensive, noteworthy and distinctive production job to create something in sync with the theme of the event.

Here is a recent project where we designed and manufactured these custom awards for Coursera. Coursera are a large global online training and education platform that offer courses from a huge range of university and colleges from all over the world. We shipped these over to California to their head office. The trophy itself is made from solid timber with inserted pop colour panels and recessed mirrored logo. Then all finished off with a laser etch on each side. The end result was a super clean and finished custom award.

We love making things that we haven’t made before. So this was a fun one from the guys at Jack’s Creek! Using solid Australian hardwood that complements the stainless steel blades and laser etching the graphic components, we like the simplicity and style of this project.

Once again we teamed up with the crew at Brisbane Marketing to develop and produce custom event collateral for the 2015 Wonder of Christmas event in Southbank, Brisbane. This included custom printed and laser cut timber signage, printed timber fascias for the market stalls, custom made timber cube seating, freestanding printed timber directional signage, printed timber A-frames, custom freestanding lightboxes in the shape of christmas trees and of course the life size timber deer made his triumphant return this year. It is such an exciting and fun project to be involved in.

This custom award for Peabody Energy was a bit of an interesting and unique job. We had to incorporate a piece of actual coal into the custom timber award. So after cutting the coal down and sanding it into shape, we were able to get it into the form you see below. Then we glued it into a routered down piece of Australian Black Butt with a laser etch on the face and top of award.
