QLD Government – NAIDOC Awards

The annual NAIDOC Awards Ceremony recognise the outstanding contributions that Indigenous Australians make to improve the lives of Indigenous people in their communities, to promote Indigenous issues in the wider community or the excellence they’ve shown in their chosen field. The Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy contacted us to help create the awards for this momentous celebration.

It was important to us to use an Australian Native timber in these awards. Highlights of colour have been used to distinguish each category as well as to match the existing indigenous illustrations. The dark timber really brings out the colours and allows the white text to pop.
