QLD 2015 Premier's Reconciliation Award

We were approached by the QLD Premier’s Department to create an award for the QLD 2015 Premier’s Reconciliation Award. This award was to go to organisations helping to shape and improve the future of Queensland’s reconciliation. The ceremony was so they have the opportunity to receive their rightful acknowledgement through these prestigious awards. The Queensland Theatre Company (QTC) and Sibelco Australia have taken out the 2015 Premier’s Reconciliation Award for an all-company Indigenous Program led from the stage by the critically-acclaimed production, Black Diggers. We constructed this great stylised, layered and unique award to compliment the distinguished and important event.

Custom Built Yoga Mat Trolleys

The Medibank Feel Good Program was a series of free outdoor exercise classes, running over two months that finished a couple of weeks ago. It included classes for Yoga, different variations of Pilates, Bubacise & Zumba. To promote getting outside and getting active. So we made a couple of simple and clean custom built Yoga mat trolleys for the guys in South Bank. They were custom built in our joinery and finished with graphics UV printed onto timber in our factory. They are both functional and look great too!

Endeavour - Timber Beer Tap Decals

The guys over at Endeavour beer asked us to create some custom point of sale for the beer taps at pubs and bars. So we came up with these Timber Beer Tap Decals which were laser etched and UV printed assembled pieces. Looking a bit industrial, but still clean and tidy; they’re surely bound to grab your attention at the bar.

Kustom - Prototype Recycled Timber Shoebox

Here are some cool custom made prototype shoe boxes we made in our joinery out of recycled hardwood. The guys at Kustom Footwear asked us to create something special for them so this is the end result. We then laser etched graphics on the sides, including a cool floral pattern for a textured effect. They came together really well and we are super happy with the overall look!

Element Eden - Custom Timber Point of Sale

This is some cool point of sale we got to do for Element Eden. Part of their mantra is to “…transport you into the raw beauty of nature.” So we used a mix of pine and recycled hardwood to create a natural, clean finish. With the combination of the light colouring of the wood and laser etching, the outcome is some beautiful and different custom point of sale for the stores.

Event Planet - Timber Menu

Here’s a cool unique idea for a timber menu for a special event organised by the guys over at Event Planet late last year. Made in our factory out of high quality marine ply, finished to a high sheen and then UV printed with the graphics. We think it’s a great look and can’t wait to create something cool like this again!

Grown Eyewear - Timber Point of Sale

We created some great custom timber point of sale for Grown Eyewear . These were small but effective laser-cut & etched wooden signs to sit on counters or shelves for a “raw and natural” look signage. This works great with the products that the guys at Grown are producing and the ideas behind the business which are, “to design, produce and provide Original, Organic and Sustainable wooden eyewear that looks great and ‘does good’.

HAAN Medical Centre - String Wall Art

We love doing different, interesting pieces. So when this job walked in we jumped at the opportunity! The guys over at the HAAN Medical Centre needed something for their lobby that included their branding, corporate colours and also to be quite unique, so we created this string wall art for them to hang. This 2-pack high gloss finish with the geometric shapes created by the string give a playful but clean look which has a great impact upon entering the centre. We painstakingly hammered each nail and threaded each string to make this look perfect for the guys over at HAAN.

Eat Southbank - Custom Timber Food Sample Boxes

We were engaged by the guys over at Press Garage for special project for Eat Southbank . The idea was to send food/drink sample boxes to people of the food industry & media world. This was partnered with an invitation to a special event held by Eat Southbank for their launch. The items produced for the project included custom made, joinery finished ‘wine box’ style pine boxes. These were partitioned to fit perfectly within the outer box to fit assorted food, drinks and nibbles. Each item had its own pine UV printed and lasercut label. Each Lid was laser-cut and etched, and each compartment filled with wood wool for a nice rustic look. The invitations were laser etched and cut for the recipients of the boxes. We are very happy with the result we achieved and look forward to doing more of this kind of work!

The Lamb Shop - Custom Interior Signage

These cool custom interior menu signage boards turned out great for The Lamb Shop . Based at The Oracle in Broadbeach. Which is “offering a modern take on the humble souvlaki”; a great little restaurant with an amazing menu. This was fabricated in our factory and installed by our own team. Great effect of black paint with matte white lettering gives a clean & simple look. Black with the timber grain running through also a great subtle effect. This really works in the space it has been given and melds perfectly with the modern/industrial look of the restaurant.

5 O'Clock Somewhere - Hand Bound Folders

The crew over at Five O’Clock Somewhere wanted a cool unique folder for their extensive wine list. They say; “Our aim is to create a collection of wines that are interesting, purposeful and honest in a dare to be great environment.” So they needed something cool to match the wines.

So we created these custom hand bound folders, which were laser cut and etched out of Tasmanian Oak. UV printed with the their colourful logo which really pops on the Tassie oak; then they were hand bound with black leather to give it a really classy finish.

Overall we’re happy with the outcome and think they’ll look great in their surroundings down in South Australia.

Windansea Surf Club - Custom Lasercut Trophies

We love getting creative with our projects, so when the Windansea Surf Club asked us to create a new trophy for them we were excited to come up with something special for them. When drafting this up we wanted to make some beautiful Custom Lasercut Trophies that captured the feeling of the glassy ocean. We love the colours that the custom coloured acrylic produces when the light hits it, it really seems to illuminate; really bringing the visual characteristics of the ocean to the finished product. The layers of acrylic add a nice depth to trophy and also give a nice weight (always nice to hold something of substance). Overall we are proud to tell people that these were designed, constructed, and finished; all on site by our team.
