Here is a clip of a recent project we were involved in.
It is a human iPhone suit. It was part of the new Australian Good Food and Travel Guide (AGFG) iPhone App Promotion.
We created the front screen and back of the iPhone, using 6mm laser cut acrylic and digital print.
The suit was then fitted with a working flatscreen T.V. inside, which had to be run by a Car Battery.
Needless to say, the suit was quite heavy. We are currently helping to find a lighter alternative.
Check out the clip below.
Here is a recent office graphic fit out for Gold Coast Advertising Agency, Cooper & Westwood. They recently moved into a new office space and asked us to do some graphics throughout the office for them.
We did Printed and Vinyl Cut Glass Graphics, which flowed through all the windows in the office.
We also did a Laser Cut Timber Screen for their boardroom window. We used Fijian Ply, which has a nice grain and colour to it.
Check out the finished product……
We have been BUSY!!!!!!
Lots of different projects on the go. We can’t release the images until the clients release the products. So sit tight!
For the meantime, here are some images of a Laser Cut and Etched Rising Sun Emblem we did for a local army barracks.
Turned out really good! Check it out…..
Oh…. and we had a Potato & Friends weekend away at Brooms Head. Jas and I caught some Fish. Mine is the big one! Just kidding….. I didn’t catch any.
Raleigh Paper have some pretty amazing Paper Stocks. Recently we were approached by the guys at Raleigh Paper in Brisbane to do some Laser Etched Paper and Laser Cut Paper samples for them. We jumped at the chance to test out some of their awesome paper in our Laser. We got some really great results. My personal favorites were the Plike Brown 330gsm and the Via Felt 270gsm. We also got Jason, our in-house book binder, to put together a hard case folder to keep the samples nice and safe.
Thanks heaps to Michelina from Raleigh Paper for hooking us up with all the great samples.
We did some laser etched skateboards for Billabong as Trophies for their City Squared Skate comp down at Queensbridge Square on Melbourne’ Southbank.
Here are some pics of the Winner Sam Giles in action and holding the trophy!
We have been doing a few vehicle graphics for the guys over at Hinterland Mowers in Nerang, Gold Coast. We just finished our fourth vehicle for them. 2 Trucks and 2 utes so far.
Here are some pics of the finished products.
We did a Foiled Wine Label for our good friends at The Measure. It was used for their Christmas / End of Year gift to their clients. Designed by the guys at The Measure.
Super clean, crisp design…….. So much so, it was featured on the Package Design Blog, Lovely Package………Check it out HERE.
Today we put up our Laser Cut Mosaic Screen in our mezzanine studio.
We got our Joiner, Rex Casson from Naramaa Joinery, to make a rail for the top and bottom anchor points. He used a beautiful old piece of Camphor Laurel he had at his factory.
The panels themselves are Laser Cut from 3mm MDF Board. We used MDF because it is nice and cheap and the Laser loves cutting it.
We used a rail system with stainless steel wires and clamps to hold the panels in place. We intend to change the image every few months, so the rail system gives us the flexibility to switch the size and the amount of panels used.
It turned out great! The best thing is, you can see it from both upstairs in the studio and downstairs in the front reception. Drop by and check it out!
Here is a project we did for BDA Architecture on the Gold Coast. It is a Laser Cut Land Contour Model for a development in Malaysia.
It took almost a full week for Robbie to set up all the files, cut each individual layer and then stick each layer on top of each other, in the right order.
We had to do it in 4 sections because it had to be shipped to Malaysia.
