Kyma Samples Box

We were recently contacted by the team at Sandbox Properties to design and craft a samples box for their upcoming luxury development, Kyma, on the vibrant Gold Coast. This collaboration marks our second project in the same style with the esteemed Sandbox team, following our successful creation of a similar samples box in the past—widely praised for its distinctive design.

Our skilled in-house joinery team handcrafted the box using native Australian timber. The exterior was bound with natural-coloured fabrics to align with the development’s branding, creating a seamless visual identity. To further emphasize the brand, we showcased the development’s logo and tagline on both the inside and outside of the box.

What sets this samples box apart is its innovative approach to engagement. A removable panel within the box features captivating images and detailed descriptions of the materials slated for use in development, providing potential buyers with a comprehensive overview. Nestled beneath this panel are physical samples of each material, allowing interested parties to touch and feel the textures firsthand. This tactile and interactive element adds a unique dimension to the overall experience, making it memorable for anyone exploring the possibilities.

Pipi's Samples Box

Pipi’s is an opulent development nestled along the exquisite Gold Coast shoreline. It represents the pinnacle of luxury living and has been brought to life by the boutique property developer, Siera Group. We were contacted by Siera Group and their Graphic Designer ABCD Haus with the goal of designing and manufacturing an elegant presentation box destined to showcase the exquisite finishes adorning this prestigious development.

Our design team embarked on a journey to encapsulate the essence of the Pipi’s brand, selecting a luxurious rose gold mirror finish that harmoniously resonates with the development’s signature soft pink brand palette. The exterior was designed with a warm oat-coloured fabric that not only compliments the brand palette but was chosen to emulate the warm sandy beaches of the Gold Coast. The exterior of the box was then complemented with a discreet timber shadow line.

As the box is opened, a soft frosted acrylic panel is revealed, bearing the development’s captivating tagline, which in itself, is a work of art. Once the frosted cover plate is removed, the Pipi’s interior finishes samples are unveiled. Each of these samples is framed by an additional panel printed with correlating captions. Overall, a meticulously designed finishes box that ensures every element of Pipi’s luxury is presented with the utmost sophistication.

Tapestry Samples Board

Tapestry is a 22-story luxury development situated on the Gold Coast, characterized by its contemporary open-plan design and sleek modern finishes. We were approached by Siera Group, who entrusted us with the task of designing and producing a samples board that complemented the development’s luxury nature.

Our in-house joinery team handcrafted the samples boards using native Australian timber, wrapped in custom fabric, which integrated seamlessly with Tapestry’s branding, which was designed by ABCD Haus. Practicality met elegance with the addition of handles, ensuring effortless portability. A touch of luxury was added through gold foiling the development’s logo onto the samples board, whilst incorporating printed captions of the sample details on gloss white board.

Seaclusion Sales Folder

Seaclusion is a luxury development in the beachside location of Palm Beach, Gold Coast. Design elements of the apartment building features expansive ocean views, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and spacious balconies, encompassing the essence of the Gold Coast coastal atmosphere.

We were contacted by Cresser to produce this custom sales folder to showcase the different aspects of the development. On the interior of the folder, we utilised custom d-rings that were powder coated to suit the branding colours for the development. The folder was custom wrapped in a linen material, in a colour that reflects the high-end, beachy essence of the Gold Coast. The logos were then printed in white on the front of the folder.

200 Hedges Developer Box

Hedges Avenue, also known as Millionaire’s Row, is one of the most prestigious beachfront streets in the Gold Coast. It is comprised of multi-million-dollar homes and apartments, showcasing coastal architecture and encompassing the Gold Coast luxury lifestyle. We were contacted to create these exciting finishes boxes for a new development, 200 Hedges.

Our in-house joinery team hand crafted this box out of native Australian timber, wrapping it with a custom fabric suited to the branding of the development. The logo was then printed on the inside and outside of the box. The box also included a removable panel with images and descriptions of all the materials to be used in the ocean houses. Underneath this removable panel, we included a physical sample of each material, so that potential buyers could take out and feel all the samples, making it a unique and interactive experience.

IT Wizards - Timber & Leather Folders

The team over at IT Wizards contacted us to design new portfolios that would intrigue desired new customers. After the initial design brief, we were given creative freedom to create something fresh that would grab the attention of potential new clients.

We designed the folders around a variety of materials and methods to produce a unique look. The folders were constructed of a mid-tone timber to bring some texture to the folders. The timber was embellished with laser etching and coloured leather with printed logos. We laser cut parts of the IT Wizards logo to incorporate the white paper from the internal pages below.

This combination of techniques produced one of a kind point of sale material for our client.

After discussing what would suit his brand, we proceeded with a white washed timber folder, a laser etched logo & black leather spine. This ensures Gareth Keenan Catering can stand out amongst a crowd, while also being easily update-able.

The Jefferson Palm Beach - Hand Over Books

These custom buckram wrapped hand over packs were created for the new owners of the beautiful units down at The Jefferson at Palm Beach. The design was to compliment the beach house aesthetics and think they look great. We incorporated Spot UV direct to the fabric with laser cut trays to fit custom booklets to fit inside and even included a laser etched USB with the Jefferson brand.

Q1 Skypoint - Custom Timber Menus

Located in the Q1 building, the tallest building in Australia located on the Gold Coast, is the Skypoint observation deck providing a breathtaking 360 degree panoramic view of the area.

To accompany their bar, we created some timber menus using a simple screw system for pages to be added and removed with ease.

Bodhi - Samples Drawers

A boutique apartment development located in Upper Mount Gravatt, a suburb of Brisbane, Australia, the Bodhi Apartments are a new project from successful Gold Coast developer, Adam Lacey. Featuring an assortment of one, two and three bedroom apartments in a bustling area, the Bodhi Apartments will also include a landscaped, ground floor barbecue area and recreation space, as well as secure parking and an open-plan living design.

As a part of the design stage, we were contacted to create custom designed, portable display suite sample boards for the Bodhi development, made to showcase the various materials used in the design of the apartments – from the wall tiles to laminates, timber flooring finishes, wall paint and carpet.

Typically designed to be fairly large and heavy, we decided to utilise a sleek, double drawer box design for ease of use. With trays that can be pulled out completely, we also included captions printed below each sample so everything was clearly identifiable. Custom hand bound with black leather and laser cut UV printed acrylic internal elements, we also love the subtle black-on-black design, which was made to include a direct image on the top for an added branding element.

SB Architects - Custom Timber Presentation Folders and Display Box

With global locations across San Francisco, Miami and Shenzhen, SB Architects has been an international leader in designing resorts and hotels around the world, in addition to destination communities, custom homes and large scale, multi-family urban mixed-use projects since 1960.

Recent (and prestigious) SB Architects projects include the luxurious Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa in Grand Cayman, The Lodges at Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley, and La Estrella in stunning Cuzco, Peru, with many more in exotic locations like Puerto Rico, Boca Raton, Montenegro and Costa Del Sol.

Tasked with creating a custom display box and presentation folder design, we chose sleek solid New Guinea rosewood for the custom joinery finished box design. Made to perfectly hold several items of various sizes, including an iPad, presentation folder, phone and even virtual reality goggles, our skilful team members also included a stainless steel inlay both inside the top of the lid and front cover of the folder, perfectly finished to align, leaving it smooth to the touch.

Adding a unique touch to the presentation folder, we finished it with handbound leather details and a leather pocket on the inside, perfectly holding the booklet inside. The finished design is sleek, smart and fully-functional, and SB Architects was very pleased with the outcome.
